U.S. Political Prisoner Leonard Peltier was denied parole in August 2009, after spending 33 years in prision for the alleged murders of two FBI Agents. Leonard's story is based on the movies Thunderheart, and Robert Redfords, Incident at Oglala. His story is well documented and supports alligations of corrupt behavior within the FBI's presentation of the evidence, as well as the U.S. Governments criminal behavior towards the extiction of Native America.

It is sad that certain government entities are corrupt. My family has experienced this first hand on a state level in Nevada and who knows what federal entities are part of this behavior too. Leonard is yet one of many victims of some government schemes and obviously he has been used to be made an example of. I don't think all government is bad, but certainly corruption finds it way into all levels. May he and his supporters continue to have the strength to fight and eventually find justice.

Most of you who know me personally know that I am a complex, happy yet angry man of mixed Blackfoot and Scottish blood.
